One thing I don’t like is the smell- i don’t even know how to describe it, well it’s kind of strong and florally?!!? I think you’ll have to just smell one to see what I mean though haha, but it’s not that off putting I’m just being fussy. It stays put all day too with the slight normal wear and tear. I will say that with just one swipe this lipstick is VERY pigmented (this one can be patchy sometimes) and I’ve heard that about all YSL lipsticks.
For the price I do think it is way too pricey. It glides on so easily and doesn’t dry out the lips what so ever! Plus it’s matte. It’s very similar to Mac Diva but it just has more of a slight purple, dark tinge.
Online the swatches of this particular shade looked super nice and just what I was looking for. My thoughts: I bought this when Boots had 10% off on YSL (original price £26) and at the time I was LOVING dark vampy lips. – YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats 205 in Prune Virgin These Kiko liners cost £2.50 which is an absolute bargain and you honestly get great quality for your money! My only issue is that because they are so soft the tip snaps off when you apply it with too much pressure- so if you do use one, make sure your gentle! But honestly I’m so wow’d by the product I can’t wait for them to release more colours so I can get them all! ☺️ My thoughts: IM IN LOVEEEE with Kiko liners! They are so creamy, super soft, and sooo pigmented! I only own one Mac lip liner and to be honest I’m not impressed with it- it’s quite dry and not much colour comes from it.
